Sightseeing of all the ghats
A slow, unhurried cruise past the full sweep of the Varanasi riverfront — Namo, Raj, Panchganga, Manikarnika, Dashashwamedh, Chet Singh, Assi — as lakhs of earthen diyas are lit step by step on every ghat.

On Tuesday, 24 November 2026, every ghat in Varanasi is lit with lakhs of earthen diyas. Board from Namo Ghat and spend a minimum of three hours mid-Ganga for the laser show, the fireworks, the grand Ganga Aarti and a full sightseeing cruise of all the ghats — from the one vantage point the crowds on land can never have.

One ticket, four experiences
Everything below is part of the ₹3,000 per-person fare. Nothing is a paid add-on, and the boat stays on the water for a minimum of three hours so you never have to choose between the aarti, the laser show and the fireworks.
A slow, unhurried cruise past the full sweep of the Varanasi riverfront — Namo, Raj, Panchganga, Manikarnika, Dashashwamedh, Chet Singh, Assi — as lakhs of earthen diyas are lit step by step on every ghat.
Anchored on the river directly opposite the aarti platform for the ceremonial Maha Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat — the largest and most elaborate Ganga Aarti of the entire year.
The Dev Deepawali laser and light-projection show is staged on the Chet Singh Ghat facade and is designed to be watched from the river. From the boat you get an uninterrupted, front-row line of sight — no crowd, no craning.
The closing fireworks display bursts over the water and doubles in the river’s reflection. Watching it from mid-stream is the single best vantage point in Kashi on this night.
The evening, hour by hour
Boarding is at Namo Ghat by 4:15 PM and the boat casts off around 4:45 PM. Times below are indicative — the aarti, laser show and fireworks follow the district administration's schedule, which is finalised close to the date. We confirm your exact boarding time on WhatsApp.
If the schedule runs late, the boat stays out.
Three hours is the floor, not the ceiling. You will not be brought back before the fireworks finish.
4:15 PM
Meet your crew at the GhatGo desk on Namo Ghat. Marigold welcome, life jackets issued and a short safety briefing before you step aboard.
4:45 PM
The boat pulls away just as the riverfront starts to light up. This is the golden window for photographs — daylight on the ghats, flame on the steps.
5:45 PM
Ghat by ghat down the crescent, with your boatman naming each one and what it is known for, while the diya count on the steps climbs into the lakhs.
6:30 PM
We hold position opposite Dashashwamedh Ghat for the ceremonial Dev Deepawali aarti — conch, brass lamps and chanting, seen from the water rather than the crush of the steps.
7:30 PM
The boat repositions for the laser show, which is projected onto the ghat facade specifically to be viewed from mid-river.
8:00 PM
The fireworks display closes the evening over open water, mirrored in the Ganga right below you.
8:30 PM
Back at the boarding ghat. Total time on the water is a minimum of three hours, and we do not cut the evening short if the schedule runs late.
What the evening looks like
Dev Deepawali is the one night the entire Varanasi riverfront becomes a single continuous line of light. From a boat you see all of it at once — something no spot on the ghats can offer.
